Let them eat cheese
Well, maybe our country will take after Ireland's fine example, and try to resolve our economic troubles with cheese.
Brendan Smith, the agriculture minister for Ireland, announced that
the Irish government is buying 53 tons of fresh Irish cheddar cheese
to distribute for free. Mr. Smith said the plan is "an important means of contributing towards the well-being of the most deprived citizens in the [EU] community."
The Irish citizens are, not surprisingly, quite irate over this move by the government.
